Delivery & Shipping Policy
This policy explains how equipment ordered from us is delivered, what it costs, and who is responsible at each stage.
Lead times
- Equipment is supplied to order. Typical lead time is 30 to 60 days from a confirmed order and receipt of any agreed advance.
- Made-to-order, imported and custom-configured equipment may take longer. The lead time for your order is stated in the quotation.
- Lead times are estimates given in good faith. They depend on manufacturer schedules, transport and customs, and are not guaranteed unless the quotation says so expressly.
- Where a delay becomes likely, we will tell you as soon as we know, along with a revised estimate.
Availability
We do not hold catalogue equipment in stock. Items shown as available on the website are items we can source and supply to order; the lead time above applies from the point your order is confirmed. Where an item is genuinely available sooner, we will say so in the quotation.
Where we deliver
We deliver across India. Delivery is to the address recorded on the accepted purchase order. Access at the delivery point is your responsibility: large equipment needs a route in, and heavy items may need a crane, forklift or lifting arrangement, which is chargeable if we arrange it.
Freight and insurance
- Freight is quoted separately for each order and depends on weight, dimensions and destination. It is not included in the prices shown on this website.
- Transit insurance is arranged where the quotation says so. If it is not covered, the risk in transit is yours from despatch.
- Any octroi, entry tax, or local levy at the destination is payable by you unless the quotation states otherwise.
Receiving the consignment
- Someone authorised to receive the equipment must be present at the delivery address, and should check the number of packages against the delivery note.
- Inspect packaging before signing. Record any damage or shortage on the transporter's note at the time, and tell us within 48 hours with photographs.
- Unloading at site is your responsibility unless the quotation includes it.
- Store equipment under cover and in dry conditions until installation.
Installation and commissioning
Installation and commissioning are quoted separately unless included in your order. Before our engineer attends, the site must be ready: civil work complete, and electrical, water, drainage and steam connections brought to the equipment position as specified. A wasted visit caused by a site not being ready is chargeable. Once commissioned, we hand over with operating documentation and operator training.
Transfer of risk and title
Risk in the equipment passes to you on delivery at the address given. Title passes only when payment has been received in full.
