This policy explains what information Sterifag India Private Limited collects through sterifag.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to information we hold in any form, whether on paper or electronically.

We are a supplier of sterilization, laundry, mortuary, bio-medical waste and infection control equipment. Most of the information we hold is ordinary business contact information given to us by people enquiring about equipment on behalf of a hospital or institution.

What we collect

Contact details you enter into an enquiry, quotation request, contact or careers form: name, organisation, email address, telephone number, and the delivery address for a proposed installation.
Your GSTIN, where you provide it so that we can raise a correct tax invoice.
The contents of your enquiry, including the equipment you are interested in and any site details you choose to share.
If you create an account, the details you save to it and a record of the quotation requests you have sent.
A CV and covering message, if you apply for a role through the careers page.
Basic technical information your browser sends, such as your IP address, and which pages you viewed.

We do not process card payments on this website and therefore never receive or store card details.

Why we use it

To prepare and send you a quotation, and to answer your questions about equipment.
To arrange delivery, installation, commissioning and after-sales service.
To raise invoices and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
To consider job applications.
To keep the website secure, including recording failed sign-in attempts to prevent misuse.
To send occasional product updates, if you have asked to receive them.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share it only where it is necessary to do the work you have asked us to do, or where the law requires it:

Manufacturers and suppliers, where a quotation or an order requires it.
Transporters and installation engineers, who need the delivery address and a site contact.
Our accountants and auditors, and the tax authorities, in connection with invoicing.
Service providers who host this website and deliver our email, who process the information on our instructions.
A court, regulator or law enforcement agency, where we are legally obliged to disclose it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and quotation requests are kept for as long as they may reasonably lead to business, and thereafter for the period we are required to retain commercial records. Invoicing records are kept for the period required by tax law. Job applications are kept for one year unless you ask us to delete them sooner. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Keeping it secure

The website uses an encrypted connection. Passwords are stored in hashed form and cannot be read by us or recovered. Access to enquiry records is limited to staff who need it, and is logged. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we hold.

Cookies

This website sets a single cookie to keep your session working, so that your cart and your sign-in survive as you move between pages. It carries no advertising or tracking purpose. We use no third-party advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google's font service, which will see your IP address as part of serving them.
